frequently asked questions
·
Why choose Hypnotherapy?
Because it works! Hypnosis
is an ancient healing art and science. Today
it is also a state-of-the-art therapy used to access that 90% of your mind that normally remains beyond
your conscious control, yet controls your habits, moods, pain levels,
motivation, fear reactions, likes and dislikes.
Drug-free and natural, hypnosis improves behavior, performance or
creativity, quickly and effectively.
·
Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes. In fact, you unconsciously enter a
hypnotic state several times a day, for example, while watching TV or driving
long distances, shifting in and out easily.
·
Will I be giving up control of my mind or do or say anything
against my will?
As a therapist, and not an entertainer, I
appropriately craft hypnotic suggestions that bring about the positive changes
you desire. The entire session is created with your permission, intention, and
awareness, while you relax and listen.
·
What if I can’t wake up?
Since you are in control at all times this
situation can never arise. Even if the therapist doesn’t awaken you, you can
return at any time to your habitual state at will.
·
How long is the session?
The first session is generally one hour
and a half. Subsequent sessions are usually one hour. REFER A FRIEND,
and YOU BOTH RECEIVE A DISCOUNT!
·
Can hypnosis be done over the phone?
Yes. Hypnosis by phone is easy and
effective. Alternatively, you can enjoy
the consultation part of the session by phone and allow me to create a custom
Hypnosis CD for you to use at your own leisure.
Note: For some issues a referral from your medical
doctor or psychotherapist may be requested.
